This means the usual varying start times for each school will be two hours later than the usual posted time, and each school bus stop pick up time will be two hours later. It will also be necessary for morning and afternoon bus routes to exclude pick-ups on dirt roads. This is due to deteriorating conditions on many Pike County dirt roads. School start times and transportation services are expected to return to normal next Monday. Should circumstances change, announcements will be made through the school messenger system and the school system’s various social media platforms.
